Apartment Rents Heat Up In Five Chicago Neighborhoods

Chicago’s apartment market has remained hot going into summer, as evidenced by a recent survey from Rent.com that identified five Chicago neighborhoods that have seen the city’s highest one-bedroom rent increases in the past year.  When Chicago Tribune reporter Darcel Rockett wanted to take a closer look at the hyperlocal trends driving rent surges in those neighborhoods, we connected her with Ben Creamer, managing broker of Taylor Johnson client Downtown Apartment Company (DAC), whose firm connects renters with apartments at over 170 buildings in the city.
