The Big Tent Event
We don’t always have the luxury of a decorated, well-equipped space to host an event. That’s when we get creative and have some fun!
In Dubin Residential’s case, McKinley Park was going to be built in a highly desirable location with optimum visibility. Since there was a popular park nearby that we wanted to sell as a community benefit, we transformed the building site into a “Day at the Park.”

An 82’ x 40’ tent housed picnic tables with blue and white checked tablecloths; 10-foot trees and park benches; balloons; baskets filled with snacks and toys for kids; and a picnic buffet of sandwiches and salads. And, while all parties should seem effortless to the guests, it took more than 20 man hours on-site to bring the final details together— erecting the tent; placing flooring, lighting, heating, sound equipment and porta-potties; hanging graphic displays; decorating with balloons, trees, benches, tables, chairs, and pipe and draping the whole shebang.
We opened our doors, or should we say, “flaps,” to customers standing in line to be the first to view the new community. The result? An astounding 19 sales! A day in the park for guests – a hay day of sales for our client.
