Evergreen Celebrates Completion Of Pioneering Affordable Housing Projects

October 4, 2019

Taylor Johnson client Evergreen Real Estate Group is making headlines after completing a pair of pioneering affordable housing projects on Chicago’s North Side. The public-private partnerships — Northtown Apartments in West Ridge and Independence Apartments in Irving Park — co-locate low-income senior residences with new public library branches that serve both residents and neighbors. TJ successfully pitched news of the openings, earning coverage in the Chicago Tribune, which featured a third co-located project developed by TJ client Related Midwest. The openings were also covered by Multihousing ProRE JournalsMultifamilyBiz.com and Northern Illinois Real Estate Magazine. In addition, we coordinated an on-camera interview with Univision at the ribbon-cutting for Independence Apartments, which received additional coverage in REBusinessOnlineRE JournalsMultifamilyBiz.com and Senior Housing News.
