August 8, 2019

Keeping affordable housing properties maintained and running smoothly is an expertise developed over time. Just ask Taylor Johnson client The Habitat Company, which has served the affordable housing sector since 1971 and is currently the largest manager of Chicago Housing Authority (CHA) properties. In fact, Habitat recently doubled down on its affordable property management team to oversee operations for more than 4,000 additional units across 18 properties owned by the CHA. Knowing this would increase Habitat’s total affordable management portfolio to more than 12,000 units across three states, we reached out to media to share the news. Several media outlets covered the story on Habitat’s expanding management portfolio, including Bisnow ChicagoMulti-Housing NewsRE JournalsREBusinessOnline, and Connect Chicago.

The Mary Jane Richardson-Jones Apartments on South Langley Avenue is one of the CHA properties now under management by The Habitat Company.
