The Lincoln Park Zoo, blues and jazz on Halsted, beautiful architecture — Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood has it all and is usually considered one of the city’s top neighborhoods. So, when Taylor Johnson client Interra Realty told us they brokered the biggest multifamily deal of the year there, we knew media would take notice. TJ got to work drafting a press release on the firm’s sale of 1540 W. Fullerton, a four-story, 25-unit property with 965 square feet of commercial space. The property traded for about $10.6 million, or $425,400 per unit, making it Lincoln Park’s largest multifamily transaction by both price and unit count so far in 2019, according to CoStar data.
