Marshall Bennett Institute Of Real Estate Launches PLA Program, Allows Students To Earn Credits For Previous Work Experience

Financial barriers can deter many from advancing in their CRE career, so when Taylor Johnson client Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate (MBIRE) launched its new Prior Learning Assessment Program (PLA), team TJ quickly spread the news. Beginning this semester, incoming graduate students can get up to 12 credit hours toward a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) degree for certain industry certifications or experience. As noted in this Chicago Sun-Times article, the new program lowers the cost of receiving a MSRE degree for qualified students, which could give many a jump-start into a CRE career and potentially create more diversity within the industry.
