Morgante Wilson Remakes The Man Cave

The term “man cave” often conjures up images of oversized black leather furniture, a huge television and lots of sports mementos. So when Taylor Johnson client Morgante Wilson Architects took a much more sophisticated approach to the man cave with a project they dubbed a “gentleman’s hideaway,” we knew it would make a perfect design profile for Modern Luxury’s Men’s Book. Read the full feature here for how the Morgante Wilson team transformed what was previously a children’s playroom into a Moroccan-inspired lounge with space for the homeowner to relax, work, enjoy a cocktail and display his unique collection of art and Grateful Dead memorabilia — and all accessed via a secret door hidden behind a hallway bookcase.
