Northbrook, Ill.-based Prime Property Investors (PPI) has announced that construction at Alexan Auburn Lakes, a newly built 346-unit luxury apartment community in Houston, is complete and includes two fully decorated model homes open to tour.
Located along West Rayford and Gosling roads, Alexan Auburn Lakes is nestled in a serene setting among native hardwood trees with its own private lake. The garden-style community’s convenient location is minutes from The Woodlands shopping, dining and entertainment district and just a few miles from several large corporate campuses, including a 385-acre ExxonMobil facility that will open in 2015 and bring 10,000 jobs to the area.

In the fall of 2013, PPI partnered with Dallas-based Trammell Crow Residential (TCR) to develop the 12.5-acre gated community situated at the edge of The Woodlands.

The two furnished models feature both one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans that showcase the community’s high-end features, including 9-foot ceilings; wood vinyl flooring in kitchen, living and dining areas; and modern kitchens with granite countertops, 42-inch hardwood cabinetry, stone- or glass-tiled backsplashes, undermount sinks and stainless steel appliances with double-door refrigerators.

Among the first residents to move into the community was JC Eckstine-Gomez, who relocated to Houston from Pennsylvania after graduating from college and was drawn to Alexan Auburn Lakes because of its amenities and sense of community.
“Because I was relatively new to the area, I didn’t want to live in a neighborhood where the homes are spaced far apart and it’s hard to get to know your neighbors,” said Eckstine-Gomez. “I was looking for a fun and active community and after seeing all of the amenities and fun activities that Alexan Auburn Lakes had to offer, I was sold.”

Eckstine-Gomez regularly uses the community’s state-of-the art fitness center and has attended several resident functions.
“I’ve had the opportunity to meet my neighbors and make new friends,” Eckstine-Gomez added. “It’s unlike anyplace I’ve ever lived before and the location is great because it’s close to work.”
