Transwestern today announces it represented Rockpoint Logistics in a 292,000-square-foot lease renewal at 901 Bilter Road in Aurora, Illinois. The logistics and fulfillment company will continue to occupy nearly half of the 607,752-square-foot, fully occupied warehouse. Transwestern Principal David Friedland represented Rockpoint Logistics in the transaction.
“Demand for quality, well-located industrial space remains high, especially in submarkets like the Interstate 88 Corridor, which has one of the lower vacancy rates in the Chicago area at 5.5 percent,” Friedland said. “Heightened leasing activity, along with limited development due to a lack of available land, has created competition for larger blocks of space. We were happy to assist Rockpoint Logistics in renewing its lease at such an accessible location.”
Completed in 2005, 901 Bilter Road is one of eight buildings in the Liberty Business Center. It is located 1 mile north of the I-88 and Farnsworth Avenue/Kirk Road interchange, offering convenient access to Butterfield Road and other nearby highways.
The building’s owner, Liberty Property Trust, was represented internally.
