Robert A.M. Stern Shares Inspiration Behind One Bennett Park
On the eve of the opening of his firm’s first Chicago skyscraper, One Bennett Park, Driehaus Prize-winning architect Robert A.M. Stern visited the city for an exclusive live interview with Geoffrey Baer and a recorded interview with Phil Ponce for WTTW’s “Chicago Tonight.” Taylor Johnson coordinated both appearances on behalf of client Related Midwest, developer of the 70-story condominium and apartment tower that now graces the east end of Streeterville. On “Chicago Tonight,” Stern spoke of his design philosophy, Chicago’s architectural traditions and its downtown renaissance, and One Bennett Park’s powerful impact on the downtown skyline.
