The developers of Fifteen Fifty on the Park have announced the topping-off of the 32-residence luxury condominium development at the corner of North Avenue and Clark Street in Chicago’s Gold Coast. Scheduled to deliver in fourth-quarter 2019, Fifteen Fifty – the only new-construction building of its kind in the neighborhood – is situated at the confluence of the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park and Old Town, on one of the last developable parcels along Lincoln Park.

The Fifteen Fifty on the Park interiors, from award-winning Chicago interior design firm Gary Lee Partners, were influenced by single-family home design, with floor plans that feature open kitchens and entertaining space, secluded areas like dens and study nooks, private and spacious master suites, and secondary entrances that can serve as mudrooms and service entries. The two-, three- and four-bedroom residences range from 2,300 to 4,500 square feet and are priced from $1.625 million to $5.850 million.
According to @properties, the exclusive brokerage for Fifteen Fifty, one feature that has shown strong appeal is the private outdoor space. All but one of the residences feature a terrace or balcony, or both. In some cases, the outdoor space offered is larger than the yard of a typical single-family home in the city. A turreted corner facing Lincoln Park mirrors that of 1550 North State Parkway, located two blocks to the east. Serving as the entrance to the building, the restored façade of the Village Theater retains the original terra cotta detailing and ornamentation that reflects the neighborhood’s early German influences. Other exterior improvements include a widened sidewalk and elevated planters along North Avenue and widened sidewalk, landscaping and a drop-off area for cars at the entrance of the building along Clark Street.
“The opportunity to restore the Village Theater façade enabled us to anchor the modern design of Fifteen Fifty in the neighborhood’s rich history,” said Golub.
