Wight & Company Retained For Bell Works Chicagoland Redevelopment Project
The redevelopment of the former AT&T corporate campus in Hoffman Estates, Ill., has been one of Chicago’s biggest suburban CRE stories for the past year. So, when Taylor Johnson client Wight & Company was ready to announce its involvement in the Somerset Development project, we knew media would be interested to know that the property was originally designed by renowned architect Dirk Lohan, now a principal at Wight & Company, who also will lead the effort to reimagine it as a mixed-use hub called Bell Works Chicagoland. Coverage of the design and delivery firm’s role in Chicago’s first “metroburb” appeared in several outlets, including RE Journals, REBusinessOnline, Chicago Construction News, Bisnow Chicago, Connect Chicago and the Daily Herald.

Wight & Company has been retained by Somerset Development to redesign the former AT&T corporate headquarters as Bell Works Chicagoland, a mixed-use development including office, retail and community space.
