CA Residential, the residential investment and development division of Chicago-based CA Ventures, last week joined partner/co-developer Diamond Realty Investments Inc. in celebrating the grand opening of The LINK PHX, a 30-story, 257-unit mixed-use development at 330 East Pierce St., in the heart of downtown Phoenix.

The project team, along with local community members from Phoenix Community Alliance, Arizona Apartment Association and DTPHX, gathered on Oct. 10 to mark the completion of the project’s first phase, which in addition to the residences, will include 7,000 square feet of retail space, half of which is reserved for startups, not-for-profits and artists. In total, the three-phase development will bring more than 600 rental residences and 21,000 square feet of retail space to the Roosevelt Row Arts District over the next decade.

“Not only does The LINK PHX bring desirable housing options to this prominent corner of downtown, but it’s also enhanced the city skyline, standing tall as a transformative project that will help bring more people and jobs to the urban core,” said Bob Flannery, president of CA Residential. “Carefully designed with the incredible mountain and valley views in mind, this new tower offers Phoenicians a spectacular perspective of the city and surrounding vistas. Together with its well-appointed units and robust amenity package, LINK PHX sets the benchmark for those seeking a home close to premier cultural and lifestyle attractions throughout the Roosevelt Row Arts District.”

The LINK PHX offers a blend of studio, one-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath residences ranging in size from 450 to 1,450 square feet and priced from $1,285 to $6,940 per month. Each apartment features 9-foot ceilings; kitchens with European-style, soft-close cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and designer fixtures; and full-size washer and dryer. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase sweeping views from nearly every residence, some of which feature their own private balcony. Select plans and two penthouse residences come with upgraded finishes and higher ceilings.

Residents have access to more than 22,000 square feet of amenity space, including an expansive rooftop deck that houses Arizona’s highest pool and spa, as well as a sun deck, lounge, grilling stations and outdoor fireplace. Other amenities include an indoor/outdoor fitness center with yoga studio; club room with fully equipped showcase kitchen and variety of seating options for group entertaining; workspaces; and an outdoor dog run. Bike storage and garage parking, including spaces reserved for public use, are also available.

The ground-floor retail space, with frontage on both Pierce and 3rd streets, is open for leasing.

The LINK PHX offers a highly walkable location near award-winning galleries and public works of art, including colorful murals that dot the arts district. A vibrant restaurant scene as well as boutique shopping, a 24-screen AMC theater and a 12-lane Lucky Strike bowling alley are also a short walk away. In addition, The LINK PHX offers proximity to the Phoenix Biomedical Campus and the Broadway/Central Valley Metro light rail stop, which provides service to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Chase Field, Talking Stick Resort Arena, Arizona State University’s Tempe campus and other destinations throughout Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa.

Shepley Bulfinch was the architect for The LINK PHX, while Katerra, formerly UEB, served as the general contractor.

Models are available for tour Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For more information or to schedule an appointment, visit www.thelinkphx.com.
