Earlier this fall, Taylor Johnson client Related Midwest took the first major step on The 78 — its 62-acre, riverfront mixed-use development near Chicago’s South Loop — when construction began on the site for the Wells-Wentworth Connector, a road that will connect the new neighborhood to both the Loop and Chinatown. Recognizing that this infrastructure milestone would be a good time for a deeper story on the overall project, we pitched a Q&A with Curt Bailey, Related Midwest’s president, to Commercial Property Executive.
