As Corporate Giants Flood Chicago, Boutique Offices Gain Ground With Smaller Players
With corporations like McDonald’s and Google relocating to Chicago’s Fulton Market District in recent years, it’s no surprise that mid- to small-sized businesses that provide services to these large companies want offices in the same neighborhood. With this in mind, Taylor Johnson pitched Bisnow Chicago a story on the distinctive aesthetic of client Fulton East, a new-construction, 90,000-square-foot boutique office building at the heart of Fulton Market. Scheduled for completion in June, the 12-story mid-rise, developed by Bob Wislow and Camille Julmy of Parkside Realty, Inc., with design-build services from Clayco and Lamar Johnson Collaborative, is a best-in-class example of a new crop of small-scale buildings rising throughout Chicago’s CBD.

Fulton East, a boutique office building set for completion in June in the Fulton Market District, features meeting/lounge balconies on every floor, a penthouse office space with a 23-foot angled wall of glass, and a shared rooftop park.
