The North Shore is not only where Taylor Johnson client Morgante Wilson Architects (MWA) is based, but it’s also home to the firm’s husband-wife founding partners, Elissa Morgante and Fred Wilson. As such, the couple has a deep appreciation for the area’s historic homes, like this 1920s Mediterranean-style residence MWA recently renovated in Winnetka. Once marketed as a teardown, the estate was transformed with updates throughout, including an addition seamlessly integrated with the home’s period architecture.
