When Modern Luxury Interiors was looking for projects to profile in an upcoming kitchen and bath feature, we knew Taylor Johnson client Morgante Wilson Architects (MWA) would have a great option from its extensive portfolio of kitchens it has created for clients, ranging from traditional and classic to bold and flavorful. We pitched the editor a recent MWA renovation, which transformed a former servants’ kitchen in a North Shore home into an eclectic and colorful space full of custom details. The many interesting touches in this project – from zinc-wrapped cabinets to a barrel-vaulted ceiling and a swinging red leather pantry door – caught the eye of the editor, who not only prominently featured the MWA-designed kitchen in the article, but also used it for the issue’s cover.
