Successful Secrets Revealed: How Taylor Johnson Helped MBIRE Host Its First Online Real Estate Gala
Knowing how to create inspiring, well-attended, creative and fun real estate events is a specialty of Taylor Johnson – whether in-person or virtual. In fact, it takes an extra level of expertise in today’s new reality of networking functions to produce engaging moments in a virtual event setting. So, when TJ client Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate (MBIRE) at Roosevelt University needed to pivot and move its 19th annual gala online, we worked closely with MBIRE Executive Director Collete English Dixon to deliver an on-brand, polished event that combined live streaming and pre-recorded sessions with a text-to-donate fundraising feature. We also suggested the venue for live segments as well as the vendors overseeing set design, tech and AV; managed personal delivery of gifts to sponsors; and helped publicize the event. Close to 200 participants joined the Nov. 5 virtual gala, which helped MBIRE raise $188,993 toward its goal of $250,000 for student and industry education programs.
