As the master developer of Pullman Crossings – a 62-acre industrial site within the Pullman Park mixed-use development in Chicago’s historic Pullman neighborhood – Taylor Johnson client Ryan Companies had a unique opportunity to transform what was previously one of the largest undeveloped land sites within 20 minutes of the Loop. In collaboration with community developer Chicago Neighborhood Initiatives, Ryan has developed and built three industrial facilities totaling 685,000 square feet at Pullman Crossings since 2017, culminating with a new 145,000-square-foot Amazon distribution center that, despite the pandemic, was completed on a condensed timeline in order to open this fall for the peak holiday shopping season.
