Not all homebuyers looking for more space, new-construction and extra outdoor areas bought single-family homes during the pandemic – many opted for a condo or townhome. We noticed this trend among three Taylor Johnson clients and took the idea to veteran real estate writer Lew Sichelman for his nationally syndicated column, The Housing Scene. In the resulting story, Sichelman includes insights from TJ clients Belgravia Group, Lexington Homes and Optima, Inc., who tout the advantages of attached homes for riding out the pandemic, such as affordability, walkability and spacious and highly functional floor plans with features like home offices.
