Over the course of her incredible life, Ida B. Wells broke numerous barriers and surmounted considerable challenges. Born into slavery, she would go on to become a trailblazing investigative journalist, civil rights leader and passionate suffragist. When Taylor Johnson client Pangea Real Estate proudly sponsored a WTTW documentary covering her storied life, we were happy to spread the word, resulting in articles in Connect Chicago and Benzinga. The financial support was provided through Pangea’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm, Pangea Cares. With a focus on investing in the success of the communities where Pangea operates its buildings, Pangea Cares focuses its efforts on educational enrichment, food and nutrition, and community development.
