BEYOND THE BIO

With Taylor Johnson since: March 2015

Three words that describe me are: Hard-working, goal-oriented and passionate.

When I was growing up I thought I’d be a: A surgeon.

The best professional advice I received was: My dad told me, “If you want something (professionally and in life), set goals, have courage and faith in yourself and you can make it happen – the only one who can stop you, is you.”

Favorite Chicago building: Collectively I love the whole city skyline lit up at night.

On my playlist: I am all over the board on music. I just need the right tune/beat with whatever I’m doing at the time.

My favorite app: My Garmin app and text

Favorite pastime: Being outdoors – by or in the water, bike riding, hiking,  watching movies, flea markets/antique shops and town festivals. Trying restaurants I haven’t been to before. Random road trips and planning my next remodel project at home.

What I like most about TJ: The friendly, welcoming atmosphere of the whole team.

Most people don’t know that: Very little offends or embarrasses me, yet being the center of attention makes me uncomfortable.

My guilty pleasure is: Imagining what to design and remodel next. BBQ, soft serve ice cream and Frango mints.
