Newest addition to team continues brokerage firm’s growth, with record sales volume expected in 2022

Interra Realty, a Chicago-based commercial real estate investment services firm, today announced it has hired Nathan Zito as the firm’s newest associate. The addition of Zito will allow Interra to build on its significant growth in recent years, including $229 million in transactions closed year to date.

Zito will work on a team with Patrick Kennelly, managing partner, and Paul Waterloo, director. Prior to joining Interra, Zito worked in commercial construction, where his interest and knowledge of developments grew from technical to sustainable. He most recently worked as a project manager at Pioneer Engineering & Environmental Services and, before, that, as an operating field engineer at Testing Service Corporation. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he holds a bachelor’s degree in geoscience and business management.

In 2021, Interra Realty sold or put under contract $527 million in multifamily investments and will surpass that total this year. The firm has added brokers nearly every year since its inception.
