Strategic transaction with Lecangs, LLC reinforces the robust industrial potential of the Port of Savannah area and CRG’s nationwide development platform
CRG, the national real estate development and investment firm, today announced the sale of a 77-acre parcel at The Cubes at West Port, its 764-acre master-planned industrial park in Bryan County, Ga., about 25 miles west of Savannah. Global 3PL company Lecangs, LLC purchased the site for an undisclosed amount. CRG and Clayco plan to construct a 1,004,340-square-foot industrial facility for Lecangs on the site in the near future.
Located at 3438 US Highway 80 E, less than 3 miles from I-16 and 25 miles from I-95, The Cubes at West Port offers easy access to the Port of Savannah and the southeastern U.S. Designed to offer significant flexibility, The Cubes at West Port can accommodate up to 5.5 million square feet across various site plans, catering to diverse industries. This transaction underscores the growth and potential of the industrial park, positioning it as a successful extension of CRG’s inaugural Savannah development, The Cubes at Interstate Centre II.
The sale comes as the Port of Savannah, the second-largest port on the East Coast and fourth in the U.S., supports a thriving industrial real estate market. The Cubes at West Port also complements the Georgia Ports Authority’s recent $374 million investment in port infrastructure, which aims to create the largest on-dock rail facility in the Western Hemisphere.
