M/I Homes announces it will celebrate the grand opening of English Rows, a community of 37 townhomes in Naperville, with a special event and ribbon cutting on May 7.
During the grand opening, which will take place from 4:30 to 8 p.m., prospective buyers can tour a new decorated model townhome, enjoy gourmet appetizers and beverages, and participate in a free raffle drawing between 6 and 7:30 p.m. Those interested in being placed on the guest list for the invitation-only event can visit www.mihomes.com/ERGrandOpening or contact Nicole Skrocki at (630) 605-8271 to register.
The grand opening event will also be an opportunity for buyers to explore the traditional English garden that is the centerpiece of English Rows, with a reflecting pool, statues, seating areas and planting beds interspersed throughout the grounds in a symmetrical layout.
“Our timing for the grand opening of English Rows couldn’t be better, with the English garden coming into full spring bloom,” said Ron Martin, region president of M/I Homes. “Prospective buyers will be able to fully appreciate what sets this community apart, from its beautiful grounds and manicured landscaping to its unique architecture and small neighborhood feel, and all in a convenient location along the Route 59 corridor and just 15 minutes from historic downtown Naperville.”
Located on the west side of Route 59, just south of 103rd Street in Naperville, English Rows backs into the premier Tamarack Golf Club, with select home sites offering golf course views. M/I Homes is offering four townhome floor plans from the builder’s Victorian series. All plans feature four levels, including basements, and have two to four bedrooms, 1½ to 3½ baths and two-car garages. Townhomes measure from 1,808 to 2,643 square feet and are base-priced from $289,990 to $339,990.
“The exterior elevations at English Rows have many charming details such as cupolas, bay windows, covered porches and white picket fences, which blend seamlessly with the distinctive architecture of the existing homes in the community,” said Cheryl Bonk, vice president of sales and marketing for M/I Homes. “Inside, these plans have all the hallmarks of excellent townhome design that M/I Homes is known for, with spacious living areas, well-planned kitchens, and flexible spaces such as lofts and lower-level bonus rooms. With such a great use of space, townhome living can be a comfortable option for a range of different buyers, from families to empty nesters.”
The new townhome model at English Rows features the Cardiff floor plan, which is the community’s largest design and comes standard with two bedrooms, 2½ baths and a loft.
On the main floor, the Cardiff model shows a formal dining space and small “keeping room” sitting area at the rear of the home, adjacent to the kitchen.
“There is also a large living room at the front of the home, a game room on the lower level, and an additional seating arrangement with a television in the upstairs loft,” said Bonk. “The model does a great job showcasing the amazing amount of living space buyers get with one of our townhome designs. In fact, at 2,643 square feet, this townhome is larger than many single-family homes.”
Optional features shown in the Cardiff model include a luxury master bath with a walk-in shower and dual-bowl vanity; wood flooring throughout all of the first floor, the master bedroom, upstairs loft and hallway; and an upgraded kitchen with stainless steel appliances.
English Rows is within the highly acclaimed Indian Prairie School District 204 and is located just minutes from Neuqua Valley High School, Scullen Middle School and Peterson Elementary.
The grand opening celebrations for English Rows will be held Thursday, May 7 from 4:30 to 8 p.m. in the new model townhome at 4103 Royal Mews Circle in Naperville. To register or for more information about English Rows, visit www.mihomes.com/ERGrandOpening or call Nicole Skrocki at (630) 605-8271.
Homes at all M/I Homes communities come standard with the builder’s industry-leading 30-Year Transferable Structural Warranty, which not only allows buyers to purchase with confidence, but also adds value if the home is sold in the future. All homes are also WHOLE HOME Certified, an M/I Homes designation indicating the builder’s superior approach when constructing homes. Upon testing, an M/I home will receive a more favorable HERS (Home Energy Rating System) score than an Energy Star-certified home, which can save buyers upwards of 30 percent on their energy bills. A lower HERS Index means lower energy costs, and on average an M/I home achieves a HERS rating of 60, considerably lower than other builders in the market.
