Construction is underway on the second phase of Arbor Lane, a community of 16 townhomes in Arlington Heights, announced Northbrook-based Red Seal Homes.

Located along Palatine Road, just east of Rand Road, Arbor Lane offers four floor plan options ranging from 1,702 to 1,742 square feet. Priced from $289,900, the homes offer two to three bedrooms, 2½ baths, an attached two-car garage, and private outdoor space. Homes in phase II are priced from $319,900 and first move-ins are scheduled for December.

“The interest in Arbor Lane throughout phase one was very strong because there really aren’t many new-construction options available in this particular area of Arlington Heights,” said Brian Hoffman of Red Seal Homes.

Two of the townhomes in phase two – The Ashton and The Crofton – offer dual master suites that are ideal for buyers with roommates or frequent house guests. “Some single homebuyers will bring in a roommate to help offset the cost, and this floor plan is ideal for that,” Hoffman noted. “The second master suite also provides a spacious guest room for visiting family and friends.”

The two other floor plans at Arbor Lane each offer three bedrooms, including a master suite with an attached bath and walk-in closet. “These plans have been popular with families that are drawn to the area because of the fantastic schools,” noted Hoffman.

All floor plans offer second-floor laundry, a powder room on the main living level, and lower-level flex space that can be used as a den, home office or playroom. The Brunswick, which is a 1,719-square-foot plan with three bedrooms, also offers the option of adding a den to the main level.

Each townhome comes standard with a partial brick façade, site-finished hardwood flooring throughout the main living areas, and modern kitchens with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and Aristokraft® furniture-quality cabinetry.

“The townhomes at Arbor Lane have been designed to live like a single-family home with features like eat-in kitchens, plenty of closet space, and exterior storage,” said Hoffman. “Plus they offer one big perk most single-family homes do not – they’re maintenance-free.”

Another benefit of the townhomes at Arbor Lane is the location, about a half-mile from shopping and dining destinations at the intersection of Arlington Heights and Rand roads and a short drive from Arlington Lake Park. The community is also less than 10 minutes from two Metra stations, offering train service to downtown Chicago.

“Arlington Heights has long been a desirable place to live because of its great schools, thriving downtown, and easy commute into Chicago,” said Hoffman. “The townhomes at Arbor Lane allow buyers to enjoy all this vibrant community has to offer without settling for an existing home that lacks many of the features that only a newly constructed home can provide.”
