Small Industrial Users Create Big Opportunity In Indy
Industrial activity remains strong in the Indianapolis market, where Taylor Johnson client HSA Commercial Real Estate recently completed the lease-up of Gateway Industrial III, a 220,000-square-foot distribution center in suburban Plainfield. In a recent Q&A with Commercial Property Executive, HSA CEO Bob Smietana discussed emerging trends and key demand drivers that are expected to make 2016 another banner year for industrial leasing and development. Among the pipeline projects: a 150,000-square-foot spec distribution center that HSA plans to develop adjacent to Gateway Industrial III. Slated to break ground this summer, the development will cater to smaller users requiring as little as 25,000 square feet.
