Fifield Cos. Reveals New Headquarters at Burnham 600
Taylor Johnson client Fifield Cos. is no stranger to making headlines for its luxury apartment buildings, but it was the firm’s year-long renovation of Burnham 600, an eight-storyoffice building, that recently grabbed the attention of GlobeSt.com and Chicago Architecture. Designed by famed Chicago architect Daniel Burnham in 1912, the 106,000-square-foot loft office building is the new home to Fifield Cos.’ headquarters and is nearly 100 percent leased. Fifield Cos. made a number of improvements to the building’s common areas and also undertook a complete gut rehab in creating its new headquarters. The Fifield Cos. team can now enjoy a combination of open, private and flex office space, as well as a kitchen featuring the same luxury countertop, cabinet and backsplash finishes offered at Fifield’s newest Class A apartment towers.
