Nearly 48,000 off-campus student housing beds are slated to deliver nationwide in 2016, with 10 percent of the new supply coming from a single developer: Taylor Johnson client CA Ventures. The Chicago-based firm recently opened eight communities comprising approximately 4,000 beds across the U.S. Valued at more than $460 million, the communities already are 95 percent occupied, underscoring the demand for highly amenitized, off-campus housing.
