Luxury rental living has expanded beyond downtown Chicago, with millennials and empty nesters fueling demand for upscale apartments on the city’s North Side. Among the developers at the forefront of this movement: Taylor Johnson client BlitzLake, which is currently pre-leasing Lakeview 3200, a new 90-unit mixed-use development one block east of the Belmont CTA station in Lakeview. In addition to offering amenities like a resident lounge, landscaped sundeck and 24-hour fitness center,  the development will house a 33,000-square-foot flexible-format Target store on the ground level.
