Taylor Johnson client Hubbard Street Group has hit the bullseye in Wicker Park, recently obtaining neighborhood approval for a 12,800-square-foot small-format Target store that will anchor the first phase of the developer’s Wicker Park Connection project. Hubbard Street Group has also secured a lease with Salon Lofts in the development’s second phase, a 15-story, 146-unit rental building scheduled to open in June. In addition, newly released renderings show the public plaza that will weave through the transit-oriented development, connecting Division Street and Milwaukee Avenue. Knowing the leasing updates and sneak peek at the pedestrian walkway would pique the interest of reporters, Taylor Johnson pitched and secured placements in Curbed Chicago,BisnowREBusinessOnline and REJournals.

Hubbard Street Group’s Wicker Park Connection mixed-use development will include retail space anchored by Target, as well as a plaza-like walkway that will connect Division Street and Milwaukee Avenue.
