Taylor Johnson works with many real estate companies and industry organizations to plan and host celebratory, educational and networking events of all sizes throughout Chicago. For example, since 2012, TJ has orchestrated the annual Real Estate Forum for the Lincoln Park Builders (LPB) of Chicago, the city’s oldest and most prestigious private real estate club. The LPB Real Estate Forum is considered by many to be the top networking event in Chicago real estate.

Over the years, TJ has been tasked with raising the profile of the Forum by increasing attendance, sponsorships and media coverage. With a blend of targeted online marketing — via social media, newsletters and our own TJ TALK e-blast — media outreach and word of mouth, we have been able to accomplish all three, consistently setting new records for attendance and revenue.

One of TJ’s significant contributions to the success of the event was identifying a new venue in 2018: Lincoln Park’s Theater on the Lake, which we helped select for its prime lakefront location, distinctive architectural details and ability to better accommodate the sellout crowd of more than 1,000 guests the Forum now regularly draws. Attendees include leading developers, investors, lenders, brokers and other industry professionals, as well as the media.

In managing this event for more than a decade, TJ has also fine-tuned the monthslong process of working with the venue and the organization’s officers on marketing, registration, site logistics, food and beverage, and more while also adding distinctive touches each year to make sure the Forum stays fresh and repeat attendees keep coming back. A key element of maintaining the Forum’s reputation as Chicago’s premier real estate networking event is coordinating each year’s lively panel discussion featuring prominent real estate executives and public officials. As a result of our outreach, the Forum has regularly resulted in press coverage in top Chicago and industry media including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Agent, The Real Deal, Bisnow, Multi-Housing News and more.
