including those that serve seniors and other groups with unique housing needs. The firm’s largest acquisition is Oak Tree Towers, a 165-unit affordable senior housing community in Downers Grove, Ill. In addition to purchasing the property, which will undergo a $4 million renovation, Evergreen secured a 20-year extension of its Section 8 program, maintaining the affordability of the residences through 2037 and making it possible for seniors to remain in their homes.
