When Taylor Johnson client Evergreen Real Estate Group announced plans to upgrade and expand Martin Avenue Apartments, a 122-unit affordable senior housing community in Naperville, Ill., owned by Naperville Elderly Homes Inc., we got to work pitching media on the $38.6 million project. The Naperville Sun broke the story, lifting the curtain on a new five-story wing that will add 68 apartments to the unit mix. Evergreen Construction Co., a division of Evergreen whose expertise includes in-place rehabilitations, is serving as general contractor on the project, expected to be complete by mid-2020.
