This holiday season, Taylor Johnson client Belgravia Group is staying true to its homebuilding roots by heading up a fundraising effort to support the construction of a Habitat for Humanity home on Chicago’s South Side. In partnership with Maris Construction, which will provide pro bono construction services, Belgravia Group is taking the lead to raise $50,000 to cover the additional expenses necessary to complete the home, in addition to providing labor during the build. According to Belgravia Chairman Alan Lev, who is hosting the fundraiser on the Habitat for Humanity site, research shows that access to quality housing has a multitude of benefits for families, including a higher likelihood of children graduating from high school and college, fewer health issues and increased financial security.
