We love earning news coverage for Taylor Johnson clients – but seeing them win distinguished awards from the media is just as sweet. That was the case recently with REjournals’ annual Illinois Real Estate Journal Awards, which named its winners at a July 22 in-person event. Fulton East, an innovative 12-story, 90,000-square-foot office and retail building in Chicago’s Fulton Market District developed by Parkside Realty, received Best Office Project and Best Technology Pivot for quickly adjusting during the pandemic to add cutting-edge health- and wellness-focused technology. Porte, a LEED Gold-certified rental community in the West Loop co-developed by TJ client Lendlease, and The John Buck Company, in partnership with Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation, received Multifamily Development of the Year. And Ryan Companies’ Great Lakes team received Industrial Distribution Center of the Year for its 2020 completion of an Amazon distribution center, concluding its multi-phase development of the 62-acre Pullman Crossings industrial site on Chicago’s South Side. Congratulations to the winners and finalists!
