Chicago Agent Magazine recently asked select developers and brokers to offer their insights on how COVID-19 has impacted Chicago’s new-construction residential market. Fortunately, most believe that our City of Big Shoulders is safely maintaining a steady course — and that the comfort of home is more valued than ever.

Since Chicago developer and Taylor Johnson client Related Midwest recently completed its 70-story residential tower, One Bennett Park, the firm was tapped to offer its perspective on the current health of the new-construction market and on new-home attributes that appeal to today’s buyers and renters. Tricia Van Horn, vice president of marketing and communications, highlighted continued interest in Related’s condominium and apartment homes, with virtual real estate presentations as the new normal. She also noted that One Bennett Park’s fresh air ventilation systems, oversized windows and low-exposure personal training rooms are making a big impression with prospects. Read more insights from Van Horn and other Chicago residential real estate experts here.
