As one of Chicago’s most prolific developers,  Taylor Johnson client Related Midwest is known for its ability to execute large, complex projects. But none have been more ambitious than The 78, a 62-acre neighborhood development at Clark Street and Roosevelt Road. Designed in collaboration with renowned urban planner Phil Enquist of SOM, The 78 will offer dynamic residential, commercial, academic, civic, cultural and recreational experiences, as well as a half-mile riverwalk with year-round programming. It will also house the Discovery Partners Institute (DPI), an interdisciplinary public-private research and innovation center.
