It’s Not Easy Going Green For Multifamily Properties
Achieving LEED certification can be a tall task for any apartment tower, but it’s especially challenging for existing buildings whose owners have less flexibility than ground-up developers. Just ask Taylor Johnson client Waterton Associates, whose Presidential Towers – Chicago’s largest rental community with 2,346 units – was awarded LEED EB-Silver last spring following a multi-year redevelopment.
