Moving is never easy. Add a pandemic to the mix and it can become even more complicated, which is why Taylor Johnson client RMK Management Corp . said nearly 90 percent of its residents with leases that were set to expire in the spring opted for 90-day extensions so they wouldn’t have to move during the height of COVID-19’s shelter-in-place order. But now that those leases are ending, there’s an uptick in moving — and with it comes shifts in operations and policies designed to keep everyone safe. With this in mind, we reached out to RE Journals for a story on how property managers like RMK are modifying moving day processes during a pandemic.
