It’s not every day that Taylor Johnson has a client project with a rich and storied history like Westleigh Farm from North Shore Builders. The new community of 34 luxury single-family homes sits on the same 47-acre Lake Forest estate that inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel “The Great Gatsby.” By highlighting the fact that Fitzgerald used to stroll the property while wooing Ginevra King (who lived at the original estate and eventually broke his heart, in turn becoming the thinly disguised Daisy Buchanan character in his acclaimed book), we were able to secure coverage of Westleigh Farm in a number of outlets, including Chicago magazine as well as Builder.
