With COVID-19 impacting nearly every facet of life today, priorities of those looking for a new-construction luxury condominium or apartment also have shifted. When the Chicago Tribune was interested in new high-end developments incorporating features that help residents better navigate the pandemic, we connected the outlet with Taylor Johnson clients Moceri + Roszak, developer of a 26-story hybrid luxury condo/apartment tower in the Loop called Parkline Chicago, as well as Lendlease Development, who along with The John Buck Company and partner Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation, is co-developing Porte, a two-tower, mixed-use community with 586 luxury apartments in the West Loop. The resulting story highlights features that make residents safer and more comfortable during pandemic life, such as touchless entry and elevators, an ionizing air purification system and large outdoor terraces at Parkline Chicago, as well as the rooftop farm, shared and private outdoor spaces and a reservation system for pool and fitness areas at Porte.
