North Branch Modernization Expected To Spur Billions In CRE Development
After nearly a year of planning, the city has released its proposed framework for the redevelopment of 760 acres of industrial land along a 3.7-acre stretch of the Chicago River. Under the much-anticipated draft plan, some of the corridor’s existing Planned Manufacturing District zoning would be lifted to make way for new residential and commercial uses, as well as 60 acres of open space. It’s land that Taylor Johnson client Structured Development knows well having developed numerous properties nearby, including NEWCITY.
