When Taylor Johnson client Related Midwest was ready to open Bennett Park, the 2-acre public green space designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates and adjacent to its residential high-rise One Bennett Park, team TJ swung into action, helping to plan two separate events to mark the long-anticipated opening — and generating media coverage of both.

On Aug. 6, Alderman Brendan Reilly joined Related Midwest, community stakeholders and students from Streeterville’s Guidepost Montessori for a ribbon-cutting. Later that day, over 600 guests attended a lively park celebration featuring entertainment from musicians Mucca Pazza and Justin Roberts, along with balloon artists, lawn games and refreshments.
