Taylor Johnson client Related Midwest, the Chicago office of Related Companies, has officially lifted the curtain on the international art commission and featured artists for One Bennett Park,

ts 70-story residential tower under construction in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood. Unveiled in conjunction with EXPO CHICAGO, the museum-quality pieces include a commissioned floating sculpture by Tomás Saraceno that will be suspended from the condominium lobby’s soaring 20-foot ceiling, marking the Berlin-based artist’s first permanent installation in Chicago. Rounding out the collection will be a luminescent, oversized tapestry by L.A.-based artist Pae White that will hang on the condo lobby’s north wall, as well as a colorful, mixed-media tondo by Chicago-based artist Nick Cave that will be the signature piece in the tower’s apartment lobby. The centerpiece of One Bennett Park’s Art Deco-inspired condominium lobby will be a multi-dimensional, floating glass sculpture designed by Calder Prize-winning artist and architect Tomás Saraceno.
