Just in time for the (long-overdue) summer weather, crews are putting the finishing touches on Bennett Park, the flagship amenity of Related Midwest‘s One Bennett Park residential tower, ahead of its public debut. The 1.7-acre green space, located immediately west of the tower, was designed by noted landscape architect Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, the visionary firm behind Maggie Daley Park and The 606, to serve as a “respite within the city” for residents, neighbors and visitors to the Streeterville neighborhood. With the park’s winding pathways, stone formations, inspired children’s playground, lawn bowl and seasonal landscaping all taking shape, Team TJ pitched an exclusive first-look to Curbed Chicago. Check out the resulting feature and view more progress photos here. The park was also covered in Chicago Architecture Blog.
