Residential Lobbies Set Expectations For How Buildings Tackle Virus Contamination
Many residents of luxury rental and condominium towers are now seeking features designed to lower their risk of contracting COVID-19, and some developers are answering this call by making changes right at a building’s front door. When Mansion Global was looking for examples of how lobby design is evolving in response to the pandemic, we connected the outlet with Taylor Johnson client Moceri + Roszak, developer of Parkline Chicago, a 26-story hybrid luxury condo/apartment tower under construction in Chicago’s Loop. As mentioned in the article, the developer has rearranged and reduced the amount of furniture in the separate condo and apartment lobbies to encourage distancing and quick pass-throughs.
