Structured Development’s Mike Drew Discusses Future of North Branch Industrial Corridor
Few developers are as familiar with the Clybourn Corridor as Taylor Johnson client Structured Development. With the firm’s NEWCITY mixed-use development taking its place as one of Chicago’s premier live/work/play destinations — and other projects in the pipeline — Structured Founding Principal Mike Drew was a natural choice for Bisnow’s upcoming 4th Annual Construction & Development Forum, taking place at the Swissotel, Chicago, on Aug. 25. Bisnow caught up with Drew at a recent community meeting where the city solicited feedback on plans to overhaul the North Branch industrial corridor. In a post-meeting interview, Drew discussed the potential of the area, which includes the former Finkl Steel site, and gave an update on what’s next for Structured Development in the immediate area.
