It’s not every day that a 1 million-square-foot retail and residential complex receives LEED Gold certification, but Taylor Johnson client Structured Development made it happen with its NEWCITY development in Chicago’s Clybourn Corridor. Three components of the project recently earned the designation from the U.S. Green Building Council, following the earlier Gold certification of the adjacent residential tower, The Residences at NEWCITY. Knowing insights from the USGBC and Friends of the Chicago River would help round out the story, Taylor Johnson secured coverage in several outlets, including Multi-Housing News, Commercial Property Executive, Sustainable Chicago and GlobeSt.com.

NEWCITY was recently awarded LEED Gold certification from the USGBC.
