Student Housing Sector Looks To Luxury
It’s no secret that student housing has undergone drastic changes in recent years with privately owned, off-campus communities increasingly boasting luxury finishes and lifestyle-enriching amenities. When Illinois Real Estate Journal needed sources for a feature on the fast-growing sector, we coordinated interviews with three Taylor Johnson clients — CA Student Living, Related Midwest and Marcus & Millichap — for insights on how developers, including those whose projects are student-friendly but not limited to students, are designing communities that appeal to everyone from undergraduates to working professionals.
